Denver Post Charities

Through Denver Post Charities, a fund of the McCormick Foundation, support is proudly provided to local nonprofit organizations that offer literacy services as well as programs that serve low-income youth. Since the program’s inception in 1997, more than $24 million has been distributed through Denver Post Charities to Denver-area nonprofit agencies in support of their work to improve the quality of life in our community. In 2008 alone, 35 organizations received $397,000 through Denver Post Charities.

Funds for Denver Post Charities are raised through events and partnerships throughout the year. These funds are matched at 50 cents on the dollar by the McCormick Foundation, and one hundred percent of the funds are distributed to local nonprofit agencies.
